Guardian Capital LP (Guardian) is a Canadian-based investment management organization providing investment management services to both institutional and retail clients. Guardian offers balanced fund mandates, specialty Canadian equity and fixed-income expertise and, investment management for U.S., International and Global mandates. Products are offered on a segregated and pooled fund basis. Guardian traces its origins back to 1962 when the Company was incorporated as GDN Management Limited. Our name changed in 1987 to Guardian Capital Inc, and in 2004 to Guardian Capital LP. Total assets under management at December 31, 2007 were $15.9 billion — 70% institutional and 30% retail.
